A Sweden man was ordered to prison Friday for seriously injuring a Greece man while driving drunk. Monroe County Court Judge John J. Connell
sentenced Michael P. Mattot, 49, to spend one to three years behind bars for second-degree vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated on Sept. 22,
2006. The injured victim was Dan Munson, 20. Mattot was driving on Route 31, near Route 19, when he hit the rear of a pickup truck driven by Carl H.
Turner III, 27. Turner's truck was knocked into the oncoming lane of traffic, where it hit Munson's car. Turner pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an
accident and will be jailed for one year.
